About
We grew up in it. Then, one by one, we grew out of it.
Heathens started with siblings + spouses.
01Where we started
We are siblings who grew up in religion. Sundays in our best, the answers handed to us before we knew there were questions, and a whole life mapped out before we were old enough to read the map.
02Our own way out
None of us left the same way. Each of us found our own way out, in our own time, and each of us had to decide what to keep and what to leave behind.
03The group chat
On the other side, we found each other again. We started a group chat and named it The Heathens.
It became the place to ask the questions we were never allowed to ask, to laugh at the things that used to be considered sacred and embrace our irreverence, and to work out what came next.
The HeathensGroup chat04The brand
Heathens grew out of that chat, out of our collective healing. Somewhere between the questions and the laughter, we started becoming better versions of ourselves, because for the first time we could ask what we actually wanted for ourselves in this life.
The garments, the soap, the jokes: this is what that healing looks like when you can wear it.
